Associate Digital Marketing Analyst- SEO/SEM (Remote)

The Associate Digital Marketing Analyst must be a self-motivated entrepreneurial individual with a minimum of 1 year experience in Digital Marketing management with an eCommerce focus. This person's core responsibilities will be supporting Paid Search, SEO, and Display marketing efforts. These responsibilities include keyword research, analysis, and reporting, managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, agency management while maintaining a positive attitude and willingness to work within a fast-paced environment. Success will be measured by return-on-investment metrics, as well as overall execution of the plan. The ideal candidate must have incredible communication skills, be able to adapt to and work with various personalities and see challenges as opportunities. This person will report to the Lead Digital Marketing Analyst and collaborate with Digital Marketing, Digital Experience, and Merchandising as well as outside partners and vendors.

Job Functions

• Partner with Lead Digital Marketing Analyst & external agency to define and implement SEM & SEO best practices to drive sales, ROAS and traffic volume goals

• Ongoing deep dive keyword, ad copy & content analysis to understand trends & performance and work with internal and agency teams to make and execute recommendations based on findings.

• Collaborate on analysis of the Belk.com website - on page, HTML code & offsite elements, link popularity and Search Engine presence

• Understanding of paid search campaign execution and channel platform settings & reporting

• Skilled at pulling data from channel platforms to support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting tasks

• Ability to analyze and interpret large sets of data

• Strong problem-solving, quantitative, and reasoning skills

• Clear written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial, and extreme attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize projects, work quickly, establish deadlines internally and with external business partners and meet those deadlines working independently

Entry Level

Minimum Education & Experience:

• College degree with interest or emphasis in communications, marketing, advertising, computer science or related field

• 1 year experience working within the search marketing field

• Strong communication and liaison skills - both written and verbal (essential)

• Well organized with exceptional attention to detail (essential)

• Understanding of keyword research, optimization, and web analytics

• Knowledge of reporting and analytical tools (Google Ads, Google Search Console, Bing Ads, SA360)

• Must be a team player, but be able to work independently when necessary

• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Relevant 2 years SEM experience working in-house or agency role with ability to execute media

Knowledge & Skills

• Computer skills: Working knowledge of Windows and Macintosh OS required. Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) required

• Experience with analytics platforms preferred- Adobe experience favored

• Experience with content management systems preferred
