How will you make an impact in this role?

We are looking for a talented and passionate Associate Digital Product Manager to join our Enterprise Identity team. Enterprise Identity is responsible for ensuring the right people gain access to the right information while following superior industry standards for security across authorization and authentication. We build user experiences like Login and Two-Step Verification; passwords and security preferences; and managing trusted devices and communication preferences in the award-winning Amex Mobile app, on americanexpress.com, and more.

In this role, you will develop, launch, and continually improve capabilities across the Enterprise Communications platform. You will drive engagements with Product and Engineering partners, understand documentation and deliver on the requirements, and utilize self-servicing tools in conjunction with engineers and other product managers. Daily responsibilities include communication build, research and documentation, resolving technical issues, testing, supporting product deployment, and maintaining high-quality execution, reporting, and tracking across communication products and programs. You will help ensure our capabilities and experiences satisfy relevant regulations, enterprise policies, and industry-leading dynamic risk controls.

Our Enterprise Identity platform is truly for the enterprise-meaning nearly all digital products at American Express are impacted by our product decisions. Therefore, your most important responsibility will be to help our team to craft elegant solutions to complicated problems, and carefully execute delivery of those solutions.
  • Provides input on letter design via Design brief, provides design complexity matrix & estimation working closely with Letter Developers.
  • Business Object Creation using XSD & BO Management, Creating required properties including Derived, Object, Simple, etc.
  • Validates data/variable related inputs provided in Design Brief, works closely with Tech-data team regarding variable updates and changes.
  • Provides complexity matrix and estimation for creating Derived properties
  • Works closely with Communiction Developers during DDV build phase for any data related support.
  • Ability to provide test data inputs working closely with Tech-data team during Unit test phases to Letter Developers.
  • Create new communications and update the existing one per business standards
  • Ability to validate test cases with Business and technology team on data related components.
  • Thunderhead expertise preferred.
  • Agile Scrum certification is good to have.

Minimum Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience with software product development
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces
  • Maintain proficiency in middleware technologies and system architectures
  • Awareness and exposure to the latest Technology Platforms, API strategies, and industry trends
  • Excellent time management: experience with prioritizing multiple requests and managing tight deadlines
  • Superb product and program management skills, including product planning, issue tracking, and delivery
  • Highly motivated with strong sense of accountability, initiative, and a "can-do" attitude

Preferred Qualifications
  • Graduate with 1-2 years of working experience on Thunderhead / communications/Java intermediate
  • Understanding of working Agile methodology

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
