As an Associate Director of Account Management you will be responsible for both developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts and strengthen client relationships as well as managing and developing your own team of Account Managers.

What you will do:
People Management
- Managing, mentoring, and growing your own Account Management team;
- Maintaining senior relationships with top accounts, influencing client strategy, and acting as a leader in problem-solving in case of any significant issues;
- Supporting the team in regular performance reporting to clients, including QBR presentations;
- Developing the team to reach operational and financial targets;
- Providing ongoing feedback to direct reports on their performance, including being accountable for completing their Performance Management processes;
- Internal reporting on individual and market performance to the Director of Account Management and/or Head of AM;
- Implementing tools for enhancing account management processes and providing comprehensive training for the team;
Account ManagementÂ
- Managing 1-3 strategic clients independently with a focus on strategic clients
- Running regular face-to-face meetings with clients to ensure premium customer service;
- Negotiating business terms and upselling;
- Assisting customers in the process of launching ad campaigns;
- Regular performance reporting to clients, persuasive QBR presentations
- Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge; Building expertise and being a go-to person in some areas of knowledge;
- Assist with generating new revenue from existing clients with upselling and cross-selling of new products;
Requirements:
- At least 6 years in account management and/or digital marketing;
- Minimum 2 years of experience in people management and development, experience in building teams is a plus;Â
- A desire to learn what becoming a great manager of people means and what the shift in career responsibilities could look like in the longer-termÂ
- Demonstrated success in offering outstanding client management and innovation leading to revenue growth (upselling) and customer retention;
- Experience in managing very large clients, including relationship building with VP level or C-level;
- Persuasive communication, experience in negotiations and presentations;
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proven experience with data analysisÂ
- Knowledge of customer support tools and processes;
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills;
- Multi-tasking, high energy, resourcefulness;
- Strong and clear motivation, able to self-motivate and inspire others
- Quality-first attitude, very high level of communication and presentation;
- Experience with target setting and evaluation is an asset;

The salary range for this role is $150,000 to $185,000 in base pay, and is exclusive of any bonuses or benefits. The base pay offered will be determined on a case by case basis based on your experience, skills, training, certifications and education, etc., and will be informed by market data.
