ABOUT THE ROLE AND OUR TEAM:Â Â
The Associate Director, Growth is responsible for helping retain and grow our existing client base at TKWW. Associate Directors are responsible for meeting revenue targets in their assigned book of business. Their primary function is managing and coaching a team of account managers who provide both reactive and proactive services to help paying vendors stay on track and see success on the TKWW platforms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Fully accountable and responsible for team-level performance results of direct reports
- Coach reps regularly in groups and individually to influence current behaviors and help develop career skills
- Effectively diagnose rep performance gaps and develop targeted coaching plans
- Recruit new talent by leveraging personal network and observing characteristics of top talent
- Analyze data, dynamics and trends to make recommendations to our local leadership team
- Ensure team has resources to be successful and feels supported by management
- Lead difficult conversations by providing critical and actionable feedback to direct reports.Â
- Lead difficult conversations with customers in escalated situations where manager assistance is needed.
- Share “the voice of the vendor” from the Retention POV so senior leadership can adequately support retention effortsÂ
- Remain 100% compliant with policies, record-keeping, and reporting requests
- Other projects/duties as assigned
SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES HAVE:
- 1-2 years of people management or leadership experience
- Renewal/retention/support/cancellation experience in a SaaS or similar environment
- Salesforce experience is required
- Comfortable with direct accountability for individual and team outcomes
- Proven influencing and problem-solving skills.Â
- Proven customer service and relationship building skills, including the ability to de-escalate sensitive conversations with customers via phone and email
- Exceptional performance history that can be confirmed through references and documentation
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills
- High emotional intelligence
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Solid Work Ethic and Highly Motivated
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environmentÂ
- Knack for prioritizing efficiently and multi-tasking
- Be confident and make key decisions or recommendations
- Enthusiastic with the ability to thrive in an atmosphere of constant change
