We're looking for an Associate Director, Application Support Analyst to:

• Support and resolve all end user issues and technical problems. • Create scripts and programs to automate and monitor system tasks using shell scripts, Perl and python. • Triage with Development team for new enhancements and Bug Fixes. • Perform escalated analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and documentation for multiple supported applications.• Provide tier 1 and 2 problem resolution and consulting to end users.• Actively engage with alerts from the platform monitoring systems. • Provide accurate problem identification, ticket documentation and customer/vendor dialogue. • Provide activity, progress and status reports to management and keep management informed of any critical issues. • Communicate with technical and non-technical customers. • Ensure production stability and availability for key operational business processes. • Manage incident escalation and management. • Perform Problem Management on production issues, Incident trend analysis and prioritize remediation activities with delivery teams. • Conduct deep-dive post-mortems. • Drive process improvement initiatives alongside global production support projects. • Create and maintain written procedures and make available for audit or management review. • Communicate complex technical issues, properly set expectations and adequately follow-up with all stakeholders. • Implement continuous improvement and problem management programs grounded in IT technical architecture and infrastructure. • Support both packaged and custom solutions, including OLS NEO and Kafka.

Your expertise

• Education & Experience Requirement• Master's degree in Engineering (any) or a related field of study plus 1 years of experience in the job offered or 1 years of experience as a Data Engineer, Developer or a related occupation.

• Alternate Education & Experience Requirement• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any) or a related field of study and 3 years of experience in the job offered or 3 years of experience in Data Engineer, Developer or a related occupation.

• Position requires experience with the following:• Apache Kafka; • Elasticsearch; • Apache flink; • Shell; • Python; • Apache Kafka fundamentals: Broker, partitions, topics, zookeeper, and schema registry; • Pub/sub models; • Kafka Metrics; • Broker, publisher, and consumer settings; • Kafka security Elastic; • Elastic search and operation; • ELK (Elastic, logstash, kibana).
