Associate Director, Conferences Sales & Service Enablement
Job Description
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design processes and plans to support timely and relevant sharing of information with sales and service associates
- Partner with Conference Marketing & Sales Operations to drive effective and consistent communications across sales and service organizations. Identify and drive the most impactful ways to communicate regarding our conferences.
- Partner with Conferences Centers of Excellence to streamline communications and sharing of resources to support associate adoption of conference tools and best practices.
- Identify and implement opportunities for more effective communication channels and processes.
- Build relationships with partners in Sales and GS&D communications and operations teams to ensure continued alignment on communications strategies.
- Build process improvements for communicating new conference initiatives and changes or updates.
- Partner with Services and Delivery operations teams to ensure alignment in conference initiatives and execution.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, tool enhancements and develop innovative solutions that drive efficiency within Gartner Conferences and across Sales and Service teams.
- Key stakeholders include all teams in Global Conferences, GTS/GBS Sales & Sales Operations, Services and Delivery, Corporate Communications and Corporate Marketing. Primary external relationships are directly with conference attendees.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7-10+ business experience.
- Proficiency in developing and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Demonstrates high level of influence at a senior and executive level.
- Strategic leader, with excellent implementation results.
- High sense of urgency, ability to work at a fast pace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to communicate, collaborate & motivate.
- Exceptional problem-solving capability
- Client focused
- Ability to build and leverage relationships both internally and externally
- Strong executive presence
- Fully competent in Microsoft office
- Strong project management skills, including deadline management
- Passionate, energetic & enthusiastic
- Solution oriented strategic thinker - self-motivated & collaborative
- Curious and inquisitive
- No conference or events experience required.
