Job Description
Liberator Medical Supply, a subsidiary of BD, is seeking an Associate Director, Data and Analytics to lead and inspire teams focused on all aspects of our data platform to enhance decision making and accelerate business insights across the organization.

Liberator Medical is seeking a Data Leader whose expertise is in cutting-edge analytic practices.
The ideal candidate is a technologist that fosters teamwork and can build strong interpersonal relationships with the Operations teams, Technology teams, Leadership, and Stakeholders with a focus on building the right functionality in the right order and helping overcome obstacles. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Spearhead the company's digital data transformation
- Lead a team that architects, designs, develops, and maintains the cloud data platform and services
- Build and lead a distributed team to ensure high availability for the organization's data platform and its associated applications
- Develop and maintain 2 to 3-year data platform strategy including long-term vision, technology roadmaps, goals and objectives
- Collaborates with Marketing, Enterprise Analytics and Technology to implement and use key systems/tools, enhance processes, create efficiencies, ensure data quality, and drive data governance
- Aligns data and analytic activities to the overall business strategy when driving the direction of the team, projects, and processes
- Use analytical, statistical, and programming skills to collect, analyze, and interpret large data sets. Then use this information to develop data-driven solutions to difficult business challenges
- This position will work with the broader technology and business organization to deliver solutions, serve as a subject matter expert in data and analytics, create and manage data governance, and ensure compliance with applicable standards
- Responsible for monitoring and managing Data cloud spend
- Ensure healthcare information security standard methodology controls are in place, and they adhere to HIPAA using a common control framework (i.e. NIST, HITRUST)
- Make recommendations for improvements to security, scalability, manageability, and performance across a wide variety of cloud network, storage, and compute technologies
- Performs management responsibilities to include hiring decisions, coaching and development, recognition, performance management and team productivity
- Great at developing relationships across diverse teams (including statistical, technical, financial, and marketing teams)
- Develops, manages, and leads the execution of the Marketing and Digital Analytics strategy in support of business priorities
- Partners with Marketing to design, test, measure and refine strategies focused on driving customer acquisition, retention, reactivation, frequency, spend and lifetime value
ANCILLARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspire and provide leadership, direction, and strategy for a growing team while coaching, training, mentoring, and developing team members with a willingness and ability to be hands-on
- Drive and enable teams to establish and progress toward critical metrics to measure success-i.e. key performance indicators (KPIs) and/or objectives and key results (OKRs)
- Implement reliable and scalable automation solutions using out of box thinking, delivering high quality user experiences
- Partners with vendors to ensure we are improving the benefits of our systems and tools.
- Provide engineering support and enhance the production support capabilities through data driven automation
- Manage capital budget, commercial contracts, software purchase orders
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides work direction plus has responsibility for hiring, promotions, transfers, performance management, discipline, and discharge.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OR QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, MIS or related field preferred
- Experience with modern data engineering tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau)
- Experience with data streaming and change data capture technologies (Kafka, FiveTran/HVR), and various relational, columnar, graph and vector databases
- Experience with AI/ML engineering
- Extensive knowledge of cloud technology and cost components/drivers, particularly Azure and Snowflake
- Experience using Media Mix Models, Multi-Touch Attribution Models, Customer Data Platforms and Website Analytical Tools
- Knowledge of SaaS / PaaS / IaaS / DaaS platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) including Infrastructure as code with Terraform, or similar, utilization
- Experience with understanding HIPAA/HITECH regulations and guidelines for securing ePHI & PII data
- Experience developing formal and standard ways of communicating technology roadmaps and diagrams to technical and non-technical partners
- Proven ability to facilitate cross-functional teams to develop, document and improve processes
- Experience in implementing a structured approach and process to technology service delivery and support within a corporate environment
Qualifications:
- 10-15+ years of experience leading technology teams and/or managing direct reports
- 8+ years of experience in MS Azure cloud technologies, or similar
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, master data management, or related area.
- 8+ years of experience in a leadership role preferred.
Skills:

- Oral communication-the individual speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations, demonstrates group presentation skills and conducts productive meetings.

There are many factors, such as location, that contribute to the range displayed. The salary offered to a successful candidate is based on experience, education, skills, and actual work location. Salary ranges may vary for Field-based and Remote roles.
