Associate Director, Deployment Cutover and Project Management - ACE

The Associate Director, Deployment Cutover and Project Management will plan, organize, and control procedures and timing related to successful deployment and adoption of ACE digital tools. Manage across global project teams, monitor business readiness, Promote to Production & Cutover activities and post-deployment plans. Coordinate across product, technical, GTM and deployment teams; ensuring they adhere to the requirements, timelines and deliverables defined by the project plan. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Develop cutover strategy to include both technical and functional steps, cutover plan, and monitor status of all actions.
• Support the successful completion of product deployments thru the creation of schedules, roadmaps, status reports for project governance and metrics for quality monitoring.
• Orchestrate work across the teams, managing scope and schedule of cutover actions.
• Define, develop and document PMO best practices, Scrum methodology and processes for the Digital Health team.
• Establish an agile integration project framework, which includes clear communication plans, disciplined timelines, effective review processes, thorough risk management, and the flexibility to react to learnings which arise during integration.
• Develop and facilitate weekly status updates for various audiences, highlighting the barriers and supporting the resolution.
• Manage team budget reviews, support follow-up actions, and prepare required materials for Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews
• Design and manage a process to globally support critical foundational activities of Change Management, Customer Care, KPIs, reporting and Onboarding/Adoption of digital tools.
• Document Lessons Learned to promote agile deployment of tools and update any necessary documents.
• Support the creation and execution of operational project plans; including but not limited to - Business Readiness, Cut-Over Planning, Hypercare and Stabilization

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 Years of Demonstrated Leadership
• Travel Requirements: 25%
