Associate Director, Digital Enterprise Systems and Corporate Functions IT Business Partner

Summary:

The Sr. Business Partner (ITBP), Enterprise Systems and Corporate functions serves as a business technology leader aligned with enterprise (i.e. SCM, MFG, Quality) and Corporate Functions (i.e. Finance, HR, Legal, Compliance, Procurement) and special projects for the purpose of technology strategy, program and solution delivery, relationship, and financial management. The ITBP will connect and drive digital strategy to ensure the roadmap and associated IT projects/program portfolio maximizes investment and value realization across all aspects of the business.

Essential Functions:

• Be a trusted partner to the Enterprise Systems and Corporate Functions business in all aspects related to digital including technology, data, analytics, automation, systems, process, etc.
• Drives the implementation of enterprise systems and applications to foster innovation that creates competitive advantage, enhances the customer experience, improves service quality, supports business development, improves cost effectiveness, and leads to greater productivity and efficiency.
• Drives forward-thinking employment of cloud-based platforms and solutions as well as effective use and management of external partnerships for application development, hosting and application maintenance/operations.
• Collaborates with Global IT and business leaders to ensure understanding of the Kyowa business strategy, goals, and context to properly incorporate those into the product roadmaps.
• Supports building Digital Fluency programs within the business.
• Drive ideation/innovation to help determine how emerging technology can help with business challenges/opportunities.
• Build and inspire an innovation culture – bring outside in (i.e., ideation workshops, peer to peer, innovation networking, industry events)
• Partner and maintain strategic relationships with business partners by representing and promoting technology capabilities and solutions.
• Liaison between technology and business partners to understand business processes and priorities and handle and prioritize demand.
• Maintain general knowledge of compliance, legal, trademark, and privacy regulations as it pertains to the pharmaceutical industry and communicating or interacting with healthcare providers and patients.
• Assist in the management of project budgets and assure timely management/response to all risks, issues and opportunities that can affect the project and business operations.
• Partner with other technology teams (Regional and Globally) to advance efficiency and impact. Share standard methodologies across the broader Technology organization.
• Monitor vendor delivery performance and ensure delivery of quality of services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, information systems, engineering, supply chain or related fields. MBA preferred. Project Management & Lean Six Sigma a plus.
• A minimum of 7 years of combined experience in Information Technology and Business experience in a pharmaceutical/biotechnology setting.
• A minimum of  5 years’ experience leading IT services/solutions within the Supply Chain domain
• Experience with technology delivery applications across Corporate Functions supporting business functions (i.e. Finance, Legal, Compliance, Human Resources, Procurement and Share Services) is required
• Extensive knowledge of processes, technology, and data across multiple functional disciplines (i.e., Order management, Logistics and Distribution, Manufacturing, Quality, Finance and R&D) is required
