The Associate Director, Supply Chain and Manufacturing IT will be a strategic partner working directly business and technology leaders to understand challenges facing Supply Chain and Manufacturing. The candidate will bring forward technology solutions to drive consistency, scale, business value and simplifications to our processes and workflows.
The role will provide business process, business analysis, and project execution expertise within the ICT organization, in support of our business community. They will help develop and drive business requirements and align those requirements with IT solutions that foster ICT’s global strategy, compliance, standards, and practices.
Key skills & responsibilities
- Work with business stakeholders in defining, designing, proposing and implementation oversight of solutions for our key business processes from an end-to-end supply chain planning standpoint
- Partner with Manufacturing, Process Development, and Clinical Operations to align on demand assumptions and capacity needs at internal manufacturing sites
- Bring strong domain expertise for the supply chain planning products including ERP skills, analytics experience, and process optimization techniques or certifications
- Understand processes that overlap with manufacturing such as Finance, Procurement, and Order to Cash
- Define and develop capabilities to improve the quality of the forecast and bring them to life through technical requirements
- Build, maintain and optimize processes for portfolio growth
- Work on key global projects as needed
Experience
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in pharmaceutical or life science IT, or commensurate experience in supply chain or manufacturing support or operations is required.
- Demonstrated at least 5 years vendor or supplier management is required
- Demonstrated at least 5 years of experience in budget and/or portfolio management is required
- Business relationship or customer management experience is required
- Experience working in a GxP environment, including knowledge of CSV, SDLC and 21 CFR Part 11 Compliance concepts.
- Project Management & Lean Six Sigma a plus.
Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to influence and collaborate at all levels of the organization including senior business and IT leadership
- Experience in successful delivery through external partner teams in an outcomes-based delivery model.
- Strong functional and technical knowledge in Integrated Business Processes.
- Exceptional ability in defining and diagraming product architecture and strategy
- Strong background in Enterprise Architecture best practices, methodologies, and documentation processes
- Demonstrated support responsibility and artifact creation for large/global IT solution/system
- Ability to multi-task diverse activities
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Logical decision making using analytical and problem-solving skills
A successful candidate will possess a product, customer centric and capabilities mindset to drive the delivery of transformational capabilities of high business value. Prior demonstrated leadership in solution delivery with high quality outcomes in collaboration with internal, and external partners, with a metrics and data driven approach with strong knowledge in business applications, boundary systems and process methodologies required.Â
