We are hiring a talented Digital Technology leader and Solution Architect professional to join the global Commercial HVAC division of Carrier's digital technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the business in executing DT strategy, and technology plans and prioritizing investments for the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the CHVAC equipment business executive and leadership team by recommending and prioritizing DT investments and projects that support the region's strategic business initiatives.
- Assist in the design and develop DT strategies to simplify and standardize back-office operation processes, enhance customer & employee experiences, drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and digital innovation, and mitigate compliance and cybersecurity risks.
- Assist in the design and overseeing of the equipment business end-to-end processes (inquiry to order, configure price quote, order to cash, procure to pay) across several applications encompassing engineering-specific systems, SFDC, S4H central ERP, factory ERPs, and analytics platforms.
- Work with regional and global business stakeholders to solve critical and complex business problems by defining the vision and requirements for digital solutions, recommending, and evaluating potential options, and developing a roadmap for the selected solution.
- Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
- Manage activities that take place during solution ideation, solution design, and solution implementation.
- Work closely with DT professionals and Center of Excellence teams within the company to ensure alignment on solutions, standards, resources, and budget for project execution as well as achieving operation excellence.
- Work closely with project management teams to successfully execute initiatives and delivery the committed business outcome.
- Champion a structured approach to business application solutions, formalize and adopt DT standards and procedures.
- Support the architectural aspects of all application project portfolios.
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of emerging DT technologies and methodologies. Identify appropriate DT technologies & service delivery, approaches for the region that considers external benchmark and best practice.
- Manage suppliers in terms of contract negotiation, service level fulfillment, development, deployment, and operation support.
- Manage market-driven initiatives and processes from a system perspective within the integrated DT ecosystems (PDM, CRM, CPQ, ERP, etc).
- Support the business in resolving escalated technology-related operational issues associated with systems, infrastructure, and compliance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 10+ years of experience related to IT Management or information technology solutions architecture.
- 5+ years of management or leadership role in a multi-national company.
- 5+ Years of experience and knowledge in major ERP, CRM, CPQ, Data Warehouse, and BI systems (SAP ECC/S4H, SAP Variant Configurator, Oracle, JDE, Salesforce, BW, Power BI)
