Associate Director, Exchange Clearing Analyst

Castleton Commodities Management Services, LLC has an opening for an Associate Director, Exchange Clearing Analyst in Houston, TX.

The position duties are as follows: Provide operational support to Merchant Trading exchange trading and clearing activities. Responsible for clearing, reconciliation, trade capture and trade lifecycle management across global exchanges and trading desks. Daily job duties include:

• Daily oversight of CCI's exchange market portfolio and trade life cycle;
• Evaluate business processes improvement strategies and assess how those relate to new or existing technologies in order to develop new tools and leverage technology that enables better decision making and commercial growth;
• Effectively analyze and manage commodity transactions as a risk control and mitigation function;
• Ensure timeliness of trade matching and escalate issues to Traders and Middle Office;
• Report listed options and futures expiries to the Trading desks and Middle Office;
• Perform real time resolution of trade flow/trade capture exceptions/margin settlement;
• Oversee futures and options expiration activities and associated physical delivery;
• Process and reconcile exchange trading costs; and
• Complete ad-hoc projects as needed, which can include new business implementation, system improvements, change management, and efficiency/cost saving initiatives.

The position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Financial Mathematics, a related quantitative field or foreign equivalent, followed by 3 years of experience in the finance/trading industry. Experience must include:

3 years of experience onboarding new businesses; 3 years of experience with VBA, Python, and SQL; 3 years of experience with reconciliations; 3 years of experience with listed derivatives; Experience in reconciling data sets; and Experience with mechanics of exchange traded products.
