  • Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting aligned with GAAP and industry standards
  • Manage financial consolidations and reporting for a large property portfolio, supporting both internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Establish, enhance, and enforce accounting policies, internal controls, and compliance frameworks to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
  • Direct cash management and treasury activities while handling complex financial analyses and ad hoc reporting requests
  • Lead and mentor Finance Managers and Property Accountants, ensuring strong team performance, workload balance, and professional development
  • Act as the escalation point for financial and accounting issues, providing guidance and resolution across the portfolio
  • Oversee revenue accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and continuous process improvement
  • Drive finance-related projects, including automation initiatives, system enhancements, audit coordination, and adoption of new accounting standards
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve financial performance and support strategic business initiatives
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree or certifications such as CPA or CFA are strongly preferred
    • 10+ years of experience in senior finance or accounting roles, ideally within hospitality or real estate operating environments
    • Deep expertise in GAAP and industry-specific accounting standards, with strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance requirements
    • Proven leadership experience managing and scaling finance teams in fast-paced, high-growth organizations
    • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools such as Excel and ERP systems
    • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience influencing senior leadership
    • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment
    • Experience with remote team management and familiarity with tools such as NetSuite or Google Workspace is a plus
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive salary package with performance-based bonuses and potential equity participation
      • Flexible remote work environment with the ability to work from anywhere
      • Generous paid time off policy to support work-life balance
      • Comprehensive health insurance coverage, including extended benefits
      • Retirement savings plan with employer contribution
      • Home office and connectivity stipends to support remote work
      • Travel-related perks and accommodation discounts
