MARKET RESEARCH ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR - Global PRA Insights

Organization Overview:

The core responsibility of the PRA Insights team is to prioritize, plan for, and consistently generate meaningful customer insights for LVA at both the US and global levels The team's work is an integral part of the LVA 2025 strategy to demonstrate value and generate growth.

This Associate Director position includes significant cross-functional collaboration with key stakeholder groups, including the US and global payer marketing teams, PRA Strategy, Value Excellence, HCO CoE, LVA Business Development, and Lilly market research.

Key Objectives/Deliverables:

The Market Research Associate Director reports to the Senior Director, PRA Insights and has the responsibility to conduct market research with payers and other stakeholders with access decision making influence to uncover relevant customer and market insights and influence/drive Price/Reimbursement/Access (PRA) business decisions.

The AD will achieve results by excelling in the following priority areas:

  • Design and execute market research projects leveraging primary and secondary techniques that uncover customer and market insights that influence Price/Reimbursement/Access (PRA) business decisions across the portfolio.
  • Build strong partnership with the brand marketing and market research teams, in addition to PRA business partners.
  • Build relationships with internal and external customers/partners to identify opportunities for improving technologies, processes, products, and services.
  • Anticipate and resolve key technical, operational challenges with PRA market research projects. This work will include developing and enhancing tools that enable us to better predict the impact that access decisionmakers have on physician/consumer behavior and brand utilization.
  • Define the critical business questions and current gaps in knowledge preventing confident decision making. Identifies a methodology, scope, and approach that drives strategic business solutions.
  • Leverage deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, competitor strategy and data, and therapeutic knowledge to implement real-time and actionable business solutions by disease area and portfolio/brand levels.
  • Derive and discover insights by identifying business problems and integrating, synthesizing, and/or thinking critically about data and insights to define, develop, and activate strategies and enable strong execution.
  • Develop and/or influence portfolio or brand PRA strategies, including competitive positioning, to inform business, product, and customer planning while delivering a unique value proposition across stakeholder groups.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 3 years of market research and/or industry experience

  • MBA or Master's in Market Research
