Carrier Corporation has an exciting opportunity for a Global Product Manager to lead product management of the commercial HVAC airside product platform. This includes working with region product managers and other functional leaders to develop and maintain our global platform product strategy, segment focus and product development roadmaps. This role will also lead our Healthy Building initiative and be a key leader in our Data Center vertical focus.

This position is for an Associate Director of Product Management for our Airside business and is an integral part of the HVAC leadership team that reports to the Vice President Marketing, BD & Strategy.

We are looking for a high-energy, highly collaborative talented individual to join our team, lead the charge, and be part of the solution at Carrier.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the development and maintenance of a global platform product strategy for commercial airside products which meets regional product requirements and increases global optimization and commonality
  • Analyze and monitor global and regional regulatory trends and competitive activity within the segment
  • Increase segment share growth, sales, and profitability of the global product platform
  • Provide leadership team updates on global product strategy, roadmaps, and results
  • Collaborate with regional product marketing to identify and share best practices across regions
  • Develop product pricing strategies with regional product marketing
  • Develop sales and marketing tools that assist the field sales force in their selling efforts of this product line
  • Develop global marketing plans (events, presentations, brochures, training, and videos) for launching new commercial products
  • Develop and support marketing plans by select customer vertical segments
  • Engage in industry events, organize regular voice-of-customer forums, job sites, consulting engineers and sales offices for the purpose of increasing sales and ensuring customer satisfaction

  • Recognized within the organization as a thought leader in area of expertise
  • Owns and develops critical strategic and operational goals which have significant impact to the achievement of results
  • Influences business decisions made by executive leadership
  • Problems faced are complex and require extensive investigation / analysis
  • Communicates with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization; conducts briefings with senior leaders in and outside of job function

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of product management and/or product marketing experience
  • Travel Requirements - 25%

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Engineering, Finance preferred
  • Master's degree is preferred
  • Fluency in a foreign language is a plus
  • Ability to lead and work in cross-functional environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in commercial applied HVAC market, systems, and products
