Associate Director, HR
Job Description
Dotdash Meredith is looking for a human-centric HR leader, an experienced partner who thinks strategically and can confidently shepherd leaders through difficult business decisions. As Associate Director, Human Resources, you own planning and deploying organizational change, set the course for senior leaders on employee relations and employee development programs, and form intentional partnerships that support the growth of Dotdash Meredith. You will inspire everyone to bring their best selves to work. This role reports to the Executive Director, Human Resources.
About Your Contributions
- Advise senior leadership and managers within the Revenue team on talent and organizational strategy matters to uphold Dotdash Meredith's high-performing teams and culture
- Deeply understand how Dotdash Meredith monetizes content, with a finger on the pulse of the Revenue team's priorities, strengths, and areas of opportunity
- Make connections across the business and communicate clearly about what is happening to leadership and partners, help business partners connect dots and serve as a critical informational resource to HR and Finance for planning
- Lead the delivery of training and development programs with the HRBPs and cross-functional colleagues to foster our inclusive environment and facilitate growth opportunities for participants
- Lead change management in partnership with senior leaders and team members through strong communication and cross-team synchrony
- Coach and empower leaders to be able to own and navigate critical people programs and processes such as onboarding, employee relations, compensation, and talent development
- Contribute to conversations around vision and strategy with an express focus on how initiatives will shape people and culture, and offer strategic input to shape and grow Dotdash
- Model, manage, and lead efforts to strengthen and reinforce our values and culture in an ongoing way
- Drive consistency, compliance, and efficiency in employee matters, always striving for increased employee engagement and retention
- Suggest and then follow through to implement best practices to ensure the HR team stays aligned with business needs
- Held roles such as HRBP or HR manager, preferably in high growth companies
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Knowledge of employment laws to ensure compliance in the US and our international locations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and willingness to self-start and self-direct work; comfort dealing with ambiguity
- Proven ability to use discretion as well as maintaining and safeguarding confidential information
- Care about people and passionate about values such as integrity and empathy
- Must have a sense of humor and get energy from directly impacting the success of Dotdash Meredith
- Experience with the KornFerry Leadership Architect and/or Clifton Strengths a plus
