How You’ll Make a Difference
As our Associate Director, IR, you’ll be an integral player in the group, responsible for assisting with the development and execution of the company’s investor relations program. Using your exceptional communications skills and strong analytical acumen, your impact on our IR strategy will play a role in getting our life-saving therapy through clinical trials and on to the market.
The “Fine Print” – What You’ll Do
- Work closely with the Chief IR/Comms Officer on developing and implementing a successful strategic IR and communications strategic plan for Arcellx.
- Develop written communications such as press releases and conference call scripts, corporate Q&A/messaging documents, PowerPoint slides, and timely responses to inquiries from investors, analysts, and members of the media.
- Execute the analysis for and creation of periodic feedback reports about the company’s stock price, brokerage analysts’ estimates and perceptions, industry and peer companies, and the overall stock market and help convey these findings.
- Partner with finance team to develop securities filings and other disclosures.
- Conduct periodic, in-depth investor targeting exercise and maintain target investor list.
- Assist with the planning and execution of the annual shareholder meeting partnering with the legal and finance teams.
- Partner with numerous functions in the company including finance, legal, business development.
- Manage the overall content of Arcellx’s Intranet and social media content.
- Review backgrounders provided by PR agency in preparation for media briefings.
- Ability to travel 10-25% of the time.Â
 Skills and Experience We Look For
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 6-8+ years of broad investor relations, finance and/ or corporate communications experience, preferably for a consulting agency or publicly traded biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Knowledge of SEC compliance, reporting and disclosure guidelines, as well as financial and investment markets.
- Solid understanding of the financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance, and the resulting value for its stock.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft office suite of products, especially PowerPoint.

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 per year. Where a candidate falls within that range is determined by factors such as years of experience. Our compensation package also includes an annual bonus based on company goals and an equity (RSU) grant. We do offer relocation assistance for roles if required.
