We are always moving forward - always pushing ourselves to go further in our efforts to build a more equitable, inclusive world for our employees, our customers and our communities.

The Role

The Associate Director of Self-Service Solutions will oversee the development and delivery of innovative self-service solutions that drive client success and business growth. In this role, you'll be the key architect of the SSBU's success, responsible for both big-picture strategy and operational details. From leading product development to ensuring seamless service delivery, you'll manage every aspect of the unit's performance. As the primary interface between the SSBU, clients, and internal stakeholders, you'll champion collaboration, innovation, and operational excellence.

In terms of leadership and strategy, you will oversee the SSBU's product and operations teams, aligning efforts with strategic objectives and client expectations. You will serve as the key decision-maker for product roadmaps, operational strategies, and financial performance. For product development, you will drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation to deployment, ensuring alignment with client needs and market trends. You will collaborate with vendors and partners, such as NCR and Diebold Nixdorf, to integrate cutting-edge technologies and co-develop solutions. To achieve operational excellence, you will optimize processes and resources to scale operations effectively, meeting service-level agreements (SLAs) and client satisfaction targets. You will implement robust monitoring and reporting systems to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate risks.

Cross-functional collaboration will be a key aspect of your role, as you will partner with Customer and Consult Partners to align product development and operations with client goals. You will build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware solutions. In terms of client and team engagement, you will act as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring transparency. You will mentor and guide cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

This role requires a strong mix of technical, operational, and strategic skills. You should be passionate about leading teams, solving problems, and driving results, with an eye toward scalability and innovation. You will need to translate business objectives into actionable product and operational strategies, optimize workflows, allocate resources, and scale operations to meet growing client demands. Additionally, you should excel at building relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering tailored solutions, with a solid understanding of self-service technologies and how to integrate software, hardware, and service offerings.

Your Future at Kyndryl

Becoming an SSBU Leader at Kyndryl sets the stage for career growth in multiple directions. You'll develop a diverse skill set spanning product management, operational leadership, and client engagement. Whether your future lies in broader leadership roles, specialization in a technical domain, or vertical growth within Kyndryl, this role positions you to thrive. Your ability to lead and innovate will lay the groundwork for scaling the SSBU, creating measurable client value, and securing Kyndryl's position as a leader in self-service technology.
