Associate Director - Market Research

Job Overview
We are looking for an Associate Director (AD) to join our market research team and provide oversight for the team in India (Currently ~5 MR India staff).
This individual will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the India team, which will include:

• Reviewing deliverables (internal and external) before they are shared with project leads
• Helping develop research materials (e.g. questionnaires, screeners, discussion guides, topline slides, final reports, etc.), providing feedback and guidance to junior staff as necessary
• Managing day-to-day workload for the India team, ensuring support is reallocated based on capacity/priorities
• Coaching and mentoring staff in India
• Ensuring junior members meet deadlines for project timelines
• Overseeing communication with clients
• Managing/Overseeing Market Research engagements from start to finish- from proposal writing to final presentation

They should have a strong background of hands-on research in terms of design and presentation creation. They will guide, train, and coach juniors and will have line management responsibilities. As a new role, the short-term focus will be on managing the OffShore team with the potential to transition to leading engagements.
Ideally, this individual will have qualitative and quantitative experience in primary market research, but we would also entertain candidates who only have experience in quant.
Qualifications: 

• A strong educational background (a Bachelor’s degree as a minimum)
• 7+ years’ experience in a market research agency
• Experience working in healthcare or pharmaceutical projects
• Ideally experience in both qual and quant, quant is necessary
• A desire to work in a client-focused, commercial environment
• Desire to coach and mentor junior team members
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word and PowerPoint
