Job Description

Team: Marketing

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Associate Director Media - OBU in the United States.

This role is a senior media leadership position responsible for shaping and executing integrated, data-driven media strategies across multiple channels in a highly regulated, science-driven environment. You will oversee the planning and activation of omnichannel media campaigns spanning digital, video, search, TV, and point-of-care, ensuring alignment with both brand objectives and enterprise standards. The position requires close collaboration with analytics, technology, agency partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable, compliant, and high-impact media performance. You will act as a strategic advisor, translating complex business goals into effective media investments across HCP and DTC audiences. This is a highly visible role where you will influence media innovation, operational excellence, and test-and-learn initiatives at scale. It offers the opportunity to shape how media drives patient-focused outcomes within a fast-evolving marketing ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the execution of integrated media strategies across digital, addressable, video, TV, search, and point-of-care channels for both HCP and consumer audiences.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in media planning, advising stakeholders on channel strategy, audience segmentation, and investment optimization.
  • Oversee day-to-day media operations, including trafficking, tagging, tracking, and campaign quality control to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Partner with analytics and technology teams to implement measurement frameworks and ensure media performance is fully trackable and actionable.
  • Manage agency relationships, setting expectations for execution quality, compliance, and reporting standards across all media activities.
  • Ensure adherence to enterprise media standards, regulatory requirements, and data governance protocols across all campaigns.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, legal, medical, and compliance teams to ensure aligned and compliant execution.
  • Lead and evaluate test-and-learn initiatives, assessing performance outcomes and recommending scalable media innovations.
  • Continuously optimize media performance through insights, analytics, and evolving industry best practices.
  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of experience in media or marketing; advanced degrees may substitute with fewer years of experience.
    • Strong expertise in omnichannel media planning, buying, execution, and performance measurement.
    • Deep knowledge of digital and traditional media ecosystems, including TV, search, programmatic, and emerging platforms.
    • Experience working with HCP and consumer (DTC) audiences in complex, regulated environments is highly preferred.
    • Proven ability to lead agency partners and manage cross-functional stakeholder relationships effectively.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate performance data into actionable media insights.
    • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
    • Familiarity with media tools, platforms, and measurement frameworks used in large-scale campaigns.
    • Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, manage multiple priorities, and drive execution excellence.
    • Benefits

      • Competitive annual salary range of $150,768.75 to $203,981.25, depending on experience and qualifications.
      • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage.
      • Retirement savings plan with company contributions and long-term financial incentives.
      • Performance-based annual bonus program and stock-based long-term incentive opportunities.
      • Flexible work arrangements where applicable, supporting work-life balance.
      • Generous paid time off and award-winning leave programs.
      • Professional development opportunities and access to continuous learning programs.
      • Inclusive, collaborative environment focused on innovation and career growth.
