Job Summary: 

The Associate Director of Marketing will drive key strategic marketing initiatives for Ruggable X, the collaborations business at Ruggable. The ideal candidate will enjoy a healthy mix of strategy development and hands-on marketing execution. You will work closely with the licensing and partnerships, design, and core marketing teams and play a key role in rapidly scaling the Ruggable X business. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead end-to-end marketing partnership initiatives including collaborating on partner selection, developing go-to-market strategies, and optimizing performance across marketing channels post-launch
  • Work closely with members of the Ruggable marketing team (brand, e-commerce, acquisitions / growth) to develop and execute licensing and partnership marketing strategies
  • Own marketing performance dashboard for Ruggable X and provide regular updates to senior leadership on performance and areas for improvement
  • Build marketing optimization roadmap across channels (e-commerce, acquisition, influencer) and partner with channel leads to A/B test and implement optimizations
  • Team management responsibilities (depending on experience)

What You’ll Need to Have:

Required:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Partnerships Marketing and / or Brand Management or a mixture of management consulting and marketing experience
  • Broad marketing experience with deep experience in at least a few of the following areas: e-commerce, acquisition, social, influencer, retention, creative production, and PR
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership with ability to build, grow, and maintain key internal relationships 
  • Highly analytical with the ability to structure problems and conduct analysis to deliver business insight 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at once and the desire to bring structure to undefined procedures
  • Ability to think strategically about the big picture, but also willing to be hands-on and own execution of marketing strategies
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with key stakeholders and executives

Preferred:

  • Experience with Retail / E-Commerce, especially with furniture, textiles, or apparel, is a plus
