About The Product Marketing TeamThe product marketing team at Appier is under the Growth and Marketing organization, working closely with product, sales, and customer success teams to drive awareness and adoption.
About this roleAs the Associate Director of Product Marketing Manager at Appier, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of the company's products in the market. Your primary responsibility will be to lead the development and execution of Appier’s product marketing strategy, including positioning, messaging, and competitive differentiation. Additionally, you will oversee the company's launch program for new products and features.
Reporting directly to the Global Growth and Marketing Lead, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, brand, and sales enablement. In this role, you will collaborate with product management to gain a deep understanding of Appier’s products and services, as well as the target audience and buyer personas.
As an Associate Director of Product Marketing Manager, you’ll be one of Appier’s key storytellers. You’ll utilize your expertise on Appier’s product, market and customers to bring the value of user analytics to life, across all internal and external channels. This includes owning the vertical go-to-market strategy, building competitor playbooks, delivering global training, and being a public figure for the company.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute go-to-market strategies for new product launches by working closely with cross-functional teams such as product management, sales, and customer success.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and growth opportunities.
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's products and services, as well as the target audience and buyer personas.
Craft compelling value propositions and messaging that differentiate the company's products in the market and resonate with target audiences.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop sales enablement materials, such as presentations, case studies, and product demos.
Partner with the broader marketing team to execute campaigns that drive new signups, expansion, and/or product adoption.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.

6+ years product marketing experience with at least 3 years working in B2B, SaaS, or the data and analytics space.
Demonstrated track record of winning Product Marketing Management strategy, with a strong understanding of competitive positioning and enablement
An appetite for collaboration, driven by the belief that your success is dependent on the success of others around you
A knack for storytelling and expertly expands upon how features work to highlight use cases and business value for each target audience.
Enthusiasm for understanding why something is valuable, who will care most, how it’s different, and the right way to talk about it

Enjoyment talking to customers and personally going and testing and figuring out positioning that works
A Data-driven approach; you possess an analytical mind and natural inclination to use data to guide decision-making by running surveys and conducting market research to understand segments, priorities, and market/competitor dynamics

A strong grasp of the modern data stack.
Relevant experience in marketing technology, B2B SaaS industry, and/or product-led growth.
Expertise in marketing technical products to marketers, product managers, developers, analysts, and/or data engineers
