Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships

Our analytic reporting helps communications managers and senior executives develop sophisticated strategies for promoting their organizations and brands. Our teams assess traditional, social, and broadcast media from global sources to provide clients with a refined view of their most important coverage.
A member of PublicRelay’s Strategic Partnerships team, the Associate Director of Strategic Partnerships will oversee our team of Client Partnership Managers. The Client Partnership Managers lead efforts to ensure a high level of customer service for our clients, provide insights to clients, and take responsibility for the health and renewal of these clients. The Associate Director role requires exceptional management skills and strong collaboration with internal stakeholders including Team Leads, Data Visualization Specialists, and Media Analysts.
We need a self-starter with the ability to develop executive-level relationships and manage a team of professionals that handle our enterprise-level client relationships. A successful candidate has a proven track record of senior management experience, excellent communication skills, project management skills, the ability to find and articulate key insights, and is excited to work in a lean and dynamic environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships to define and execute departmental strategy
- Develop a strong understanding of PublicRelay’s product and service offerings for the purpose of identifying solutions to maximize client value
- Manage a team of 5-10 Client Partnership Managers, who serve as the executive client relationship owners for Enterprise accounts
- Provide guidance and support your team to achieve the following:
- Proactively manage client success strategy for the analysis programs of Fortune 500 communications teams
- Manage the full client lifecycle from pre-launch engagement, to launch, through to renewals
- Manage client project requests and issues, including the coordination of internal planning and response efforts
- Maintain high-level of involvement with the finalization and presentation of executive-level analysis reports
- Run periodic training sessions for clients on the PublicRelay software
- Provide regular updates to client on best practices, product roadmaps, and thought leadership
- Identify opportunities to expand the scope of client programs in conjunction with the Program Redesign Team
- Develop and maintain key success intelligence like organizational charts, client champions, and departures
- Communicate and maintain records on client health metrics
Serve as a point of escalation for client concerns, issues, or questions
Desired Skills:
- Candidate needs to be strong at listening and diagnosing client needs
- 3+ years of management experience
- 3+ years of experience working with Fortune 500 / large enterprise clients
- Engagement experience with executives at the Director and above level
- Executive-level reporting and analysis experience, including comfort level with large data sets
- Ability to work collaboratively within large and extended teams
- Strong project management skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong internal and client-facing communication skills
- Motivated self-starter
- Creative problem-solver
- BS/BA in a related field
