Associate Director, Product Development

The Associate Director, People Analytics - Product Development will be at the forefront of action and innovation in HR. You will be the leading analytical force for some of Gartner's biggest people-centric initiatives. From optimizing workforce productivity to forecasting and mitigating attrition, you will provide the strategic vision to solve challenging problems and execute on that vision to deliver tangible results.

What you'll do:

• Plan, lead, and execute data-driven initiatives focusing on recruiting success, quality of hire, attrition, associate experience, and workforce planning
• Evaluate current state, identify improvement opportunities, and design innovative solutions to HR processes and procedures
• Engage and collaborate with experts across the business, providing analytical subject matter expertise in a leadership capacity with cross-functional teams
• Design and develop compelling, data-driven business cases that support HR's strategic goals
• Utilize project management techniques to drive globally consistent execution across large scale change initiatives
• Partner with other People Analytics teams to move solutions from development into production

What you'll need:

• Management/leadership experience:
• 5+ years of experience leading project-based initiatives that drive business transformation on prioritized initiatives
• Successful track record of superior service delivery and change management in a global environment
• Ability to develop and mentor a small team of junior analysts to instill technical and professional best-practices
• Management consulting experience strongly preferred
• People Analytics, HR Strategy, HR Effectiveness, and HR Technology experience preferred
• Strategic problem solving with bias for action:
• Ability to translate strategic vision into actionable plans and make decisions with incomplete or imperfect information
• Proven ability to use data, analytics, and business knowledge to solve complex business problems
• Experience getting to a pilot solution, getting real world feedback, and then iterating to v1.0+ with a continuous improvement mindset
• Innovative mindset:
• Forward-thinking visionary who can see where we need to be in 3 years and can develop a compelling, practical approach to how we get there starting tomorrow
• Consistent demonstration of integrity, objectivity, and productive collaboration using proven best practices and methodologies with a no-limits mindset
• Excellent communication and collaboration:
• Ability to effectively engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders and leaders in the development of solutions for Gartner's most critical business initiatives
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and effective presentation skills
• Ability to collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and product delivery teams to scale newly developed capabilities
• Technical acumen:
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and at least one analytics programming language (R or Python strongly preferred)
• Experience with statistical testing (ANOVA, hypothesis testing, correlation analysis) and advanced analytics techniques (regression, tree-based classifiers, clustering, association analysis)
• Comfortable creating compelling data visualizations to explain complex insights
• Experience with version controls tools (Git, BitBucket)
