The Associate Director for Product Management will support product development, privacy and compliance solution development, and addressable advertising workstreams within the DIRECTV Advertising TV portfolio. This role will drive product strategy and enablement support for compliance and privacy which may include research, cross-functional alignment, design, development, and activation. Some of the key workstreams this candidate will support include Data Compliance, Requirements Definition, and SAFe® agile development.
What you'll do:
The Associate Director for Product Management will develop and execute DTV Adverting Privacy and Compliance solutions for all products/services within the DIRECTV Advertising portfolio and is responsible for Privacy Compliance of multiple products that fall within the DIRECTV Advertising product organization. The role will focus on product and project development and execution from ideation to completion in a SAFe® development framework. The position will focus on internal and external customer needs for the various products, identifying requirements to maintain compliance with state and federal laws governing data, and will execute projects to deploy solutions. Additionally, the position will confer with engineering, legal, operations, and sales to ensure compliance of new products or enhance existing products or product lines. Day to day activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Staying abreast of privacy legislation, industry trends, ad ecosystem interoperability, privacy by design solutions and data protection.
• Creating business requirements for state and federal legislation compliance.
• Driving the product roadmap to proactively protect data-driven revenue Coordinating between development, testing, operations, and sales teams to ensure we operate in a compliant manner.
• Executing tech enablement and Go-To-Market strategies and clearly communicate updates to senior leadership.
• Troubleshooting production issues with tech partners and internal stakeholders.

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Marketing, Business, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience with product/project management in technology or software.
• Experience in privacy office for data centric digital media and media-related industries.
• Proficiency in JIRA, Confluence, or similar tools. Background in Scaled Agile Framework, preferably SAFe® certified.
