We are currently seeking an Associate Director of Program Management to join our dynamic Environmental Team. In this position, you will manage large, complex signage and environmental design programs across a range of industries, including healthcare, financial services, energy, technology, and more. These projects encompass diverse settings such as commercial facilities, retail spaces, corporate environments, and institutional spaces.
As an Associate Program Director, your primary responsibilities will involve structuring projects, managing teams, facilitating day-to-day activities, developing key deliverables, and coordinating implementation efforts with clients and vendors. Alongside project-related work, you will also assist team leadership in implementing new processes that enhance our internal operations. This position presents an exciting opportunity for individuals with strong project management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Work closely with the Executive Director and Senior Director as an integral part of Monigle's Environmental Team, taking on a program management role that includes significant operational duties
• Manage larger, more complex projects from start to finish, including project setup, site surveys, sign family design, guidelines, technical documentation, site-specific recommendations, prototyping, bidding and sourcing, project management, and close-out
• Utilize SignChart to carry out typical project management tasks, such as tracking project progress, managing budgets, generating reports, and conducting regular status meetings with clients and vendors
• Provide guidance to project teams on a daily basis, assisting them with site-specific recommendations and issues for resolution (IFRs), assigning responsibilities, ensuring quality control, and offering support as needed
• Develop project-specific bottom-up plans, facilitate resource allocation, create schedules, and provide forecasts using VantagePoint
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely billing processes
• Cultivate strong professional relationships externally with clients, partners, and vendors, as well as internally with the environmental, finance, and operations teams
• Contribute to proposal writing for both organic growth and new business opportunities
• Design and implement training modules to foster the acquisition of new skills and knowledge transfer among team members
• Identify opportunities for improvement in teamwork, internal communication, and overall team dynamics, and actively participate in implementing necessary changes
• Support and uphold the values, vision, direction, and culture of Monigle as an organization
REQUIREMENTS
• 10+ years of experience working as a project manager in an agency setting or a related industry
• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in environmental design, industrial design, graphic design, architecture, or engineering
• Proficiency in design industry and project management software such as PowerPoint, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, CAD, and SketchUp
• Extensive knowledge of the sign industry, including signage manufacturing processes, techniques, materials, finishes, lighting, fabrication, and cost considerations
• Excellent writing skills for effective email communication and proposal writing
• Strong presentation skills to effectively convey design concepts to internal teams and clients
• Ability to work independently, demonstrating self-motivation and strong organizational skills
• Some travel may be required, but it is expected to be less than 10% of the time
Salary range: $71,500 - 90,000
  • Final salary will be determined based on seniority, merit, geographic location, education, training and experience, and may vary from the amount listed above.
