Associate Director, Strategic Growth, Oversight, and Operations is responsible for strategizing, developing, implementing, and leading sales analytics to improve sales effectiveness. They conduct and lead regular monitoring of field sales activities across the organization to uphold the integrity of sales compliance. Additionally, they work closely with cross-functionals teams to ensure best in class analytics and oversight.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directly supervises a team of professionals. Provides reliable, efficient support for the team.
  • Leads all aspects of leading the team including, but not limited to, selection, onboarding, performance management, and engagement.
  • Manages, coaches, and provides training to sales leaders, with the goal of developing a high performing team.
  • Innovates and implements cutting-edge strategies to elevate sales processes and tools, meticulously monitors and enforces compliance standards for optimal sales force effectiveness.
  • Manages projects with finesse, spearheading initiatives that are not just crucial but transformative, thereby ensuring the continuous enhancement of functions integral to sales performance.
  • Pioneers the development of an agile and sophisticated sales operations reporting and analysis function. Delivers accurate, timely, and deeply insightful data, in a variety of formats, that serves as the catalyst for informed, positive business decisions and outcomes.
  • Undertakes vigilant monitoring of field sales activities, demonstrates an unwavering commitment to upholding the highest standards of integrity within the sales organization.
  • Collaborates seamlessly with legal, compliance, and human resources, orchestrating investigations related to sales activities with the utmost discretion and acumen.
  • Navigates the nuanced landscape of responsibilities with an unparalleled level of trust and integrity, recognizing the sensitivity inherent in safeguarding the reputation and compliance of our sales function.
  • Forges collaborative alliances with legal, compliance, and human resources, instilling a sense of shared purpose in overseeing sales activities and ensuring holistic compliance.
  • Engages proactively with diverse departments, orchestrating analytical approaches for business critical initiatives, fostering an environment of cross-functional excellence.
  • Exerts strategic influence in optimizing sales operations, embodying a steadfast commitment to compliance standards and ethical practices.
  • Champions initiatives that transcend the conventional, leaving an indelible mark on the improvement of sales performance and execution.
  • Leads and facilitates team meetings and training. Trains and develops sales leaders and sales professionals in the areas of sales analytics and oversight.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager's discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Knowledge and experience leading a team. Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to use Salesforce.
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of sales and business development functions, and performance management.
  • Demonstrated expertise and success in the analysis, design, and automation of business processes; strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills
  • Ability to successfully manage highly visible and complex projects, across key matrix partners within the organization.
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple projects with precision within a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Ability lead a team to prepare reports and use of appropriate mode of communication. Must be proficient at analyzing data, building reports, and making strategic recommendations based on data and trends.
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with others.
  • Strong problem solving, time management, organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to present data and analysis to a variety of stakeholders. Strong written and verbal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, database, and presentation software.
  • High level of integrity, dependability, and reliability.
  • Ability to manage change and align with our mission.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to travel local, regionally, and nationwide up to 20% of the time.
  • Spoken and written fluency in English

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Economics or a closely related field required; MA/MS/MBA degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 6 years of direct sales experience and/or a combination of sales and broker partnership experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity required.
  • Experience working for a large, health insurance sales team or Medicare Sales Direct Marketing Organizations preferred.
  • Management consulting or external consulting preferred.
