  About this role
  The Refrigeration Strategic Sourcing Associate Director leads the Refrigeration commodity strategy partnering with the global commodity team and the operations team. This team will be responsible to set the strategy for the commodities at the Refrigeration level including recommended suppliers, performing Quality Business Reviews with key suppliers, and obtaining key metrics like best cost sourcing, supply chain flexibility, and contract terms.
  Key Responsibilities
• Establishes the Refrigeration commodity strategy for 3-5 years
• Develops and implements mid- to long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, production location decisions, make vs. buy, etc.
• Partners with internal clients and stakeholders to identify sourcing needs and develops sourcing strategies to continuously improve and re-evaluate the purchasing activities of the company.
• Directs supplier selection based on price, quality, selection, service, support, availability, reliability, production and distribution capabilities and details of suppliers' reputation and history.
• Directs negotiations, renegotiations and administration of contracts with suppliers, vendors, and other representatives.
• Directs negotiations with suppliers and analyzes suppliers' operations to determine factors that affect prices and to determine lowest cost consistent with quality, reliability, and ability to meet required schedules.
• This role can be based at any major Refrigeration location.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7+ years of supply chain, sourcing, materials, operations or engineering experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or supply chain
• Previous experience in strategic sourcing
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel and Word.
• Hands-on management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to travel internationally >30%
