Job Purpose
Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Acquisition, this position is an exciting opportunity to lead the US talent acquisition engine fueling a high-growth global life sciences organization. As LGC continues to grow, we need an experienced Talent Acquisition leader to help design and execute regional talent acquisition strategies that identify and attract top talent. This hands-on leadership role will lead a team of recruiters in the US, focused on building talent pipelines, tenaciously hunting the best players in our industry and be a strong and visible talent business partner to our US business leadership teams.
This role will deliver best practices around recruitment, including recruiting operations (reporting/analytics), recruitment marketing, campus recruiting, and sourcing. LGC continues to grow globally, and we need a leader who thrives in an exciting growth environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Provide strategic leadership and development to a growing team of up to 4-6 recruiters in the US. Ensuring they are equipped with the right recruitment tools to stay motivated and engaged through direction, mentorship, and recognition.
- Partner with our Genomics and Quality Assurance Businesses and Site Leadership Teams to lead full life cycle recruiting efforts for their high-growth organizations.
- Develop and maintain regional, business unit KPIs as well as ongoing analysis of TA service delivery, gaps, opportunities, and successes.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of assigned customers with the ability to anticipate talent needs and provide consulting on potential talent market disruptions.
- Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to TA partners with an eye towards improving time to fill, cost per hire, diversity hiring and candidate experience.
- Manage a team while also recruiting for Senior and Executive roles by creatively building talent pipelines through networking, employee referrals, outreach, events and other creative channels.
- Partner with regional TA peers, Procurement and business stakeholders to optimize our preferred list of trusted partners to complement and scale internal recruiting efforts when needed.
- Recommend business cases for investment in tools, marketing, or resources based on a top talent acquisition strategy and ROI, including but not limited to systems, processes, reporting and metrics to support recruiting, sourcing, and retention strategies.
- Lead a recruitment community of practice across Talent Acquisition (TA) partners, responsible for LGC business locations across the US.
- Educate and coach the team on talent assessment skills and build hiring best practices for our leaders.

Education, Experience and Technical Skills
- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience as a talent acquisition leader in complex, technical organizations. Experience with rapid growth is important.
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop a diverse team; demonstrated success as a true 'talent advisor' to the business.
- Creative sourcing skills, a digital-first mindset, and solid technology skills.
- Focus on testing and trying different strategies, and a data-driven approach to decision making.
