As an Associate Director supporting the Windows and FSS systems, you will be trusted to work on multiple areasof the organizations IT platforms and infrastructures from our Fort Worth, TX location. In this role, a typical day will include:

• Ensuring that the internally and externally sourced IT services in the area of Windows computing and File Share Services are aligned with the business needs of all divisions and are delivered in accordance with customer Service Level Agreements to Alcon IT Standards and in line with industry standard process.
• Ensuring operational, capital, and project spend are aligned within defined targets.
• Accomplishing staff results by communicating job expectations including planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; mentor, and counseling associates; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures, Foster an engaging and inclusive culture.
• Approving strategic strategy, architecture, engineering and investment plans for global capability area, and drives continuous improvement within the Service area.
• Leading all aspects of and monitoring day-to-day operations of all systems and applications in scope to ensure stability, integrity and business continuity, leading a team of internal and external engineers to carry out day to day tasks for related services, supervise suppliers involved in operations. 3400 servers support global applications.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
• The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• 7 Years of Relevant Experience
• 5 Years of Confirmed Leadership
• Technical knowledge of Windows operating system.
• Open and clear communication skills.
