Job Description
As Associate Editor, Trading and Investing on Investopedia, you will work with the editorial team to ensure educational content on the site is as fresh, up-to-date, thorough, and as inclusive as it can be. You will monitor the key equities, economic developments, and trends in trading and investing to oversee the writing and editing of new articles and existing content updates.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about financial markets, economics, and financial education. Editorial experience is essential, as is a keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and an "act now, not later" attitude.

Pay Range
Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
The pay range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the pay range for this position and may change in the future. Actual pay may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Dotdash Meredith's total compensation package for employees. Other compensation may include annual bonuses, and short- and long-term incentives. About the Role
- Work closely with the senior editor of trading and investing to help build and maintain the library of 10,000+ educational articles
- Assign, edit, and publish 10 to 15 new articles each month designed to help readers make smart financial decisions
- Oversee the work of the Investopedia Financial Review Board
- Collaborate with the visual asset team, growth, news, and other editorial teams
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Research and fact-check content as necessary
About You
- 2+ years of editorial experience, preferably in economics, investing, or financial news publishing
- Excellent project management skills and strong verbal/written communication skills
- Solution-oriented and will reach out to key members of editorial teams on your own to overcome challenges and solve problems
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized
- Enjoy learning new skills and topics in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of AP Style and SEO a plus, but not required
