McLarty Associates is seeking a motivated, resourceful, highly organized individual for a full-time, entry-level Associate position to support the Europe & Eurasia practice. We are seeking to fill this position immediately.

Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting research and analysis of economic, political, security, trade, technology, public policy, international, and business issues;

• Providing administrative support for Europe & Eurasia practice directors (scheduling, event planning, tracking expenses, taking notes, etc.);

• Project management of multiple client initiatives;

• Monitoring regional news outlets;

• Liaising with our Brussels office;

• Writing memos, compiling biographies, preparing presentations;

• Attending and reporting on events, speeches, panel discussions, and policy forums of interest to the firm and clients;

• Other duties as assigned.

Ideal candidates for this position possess an understanding of the regional economic, cultural, business, and political dynamics in Europe & Eurasia, with a strong emphasis onthe EU institutions and key member states. Additional experience in the US Executive Branch or Capitol Hill viewed as a plus. Applicants must have a robust background, demonstrated interest, and/or experience living or studying in Europe. Fluency in at least one major European language is required. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US.

The person hired will be expected to work in-person at our Washington, DC office.
