Associate Experience Values & Behaviors
The Sr. Director, Values and Behaviors role reports to the VP, Associate Experience and will play a leading role in shaping the culture, values, and behaviors that drive our organization's success. This position requires a deep understanding of behavioral and cultural transformation, organizational dynamics, change management methodologies, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for creating a fulfilling work environment reflective of our company's values and the behaviors associated with each.
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to foster a positive work culture built on our core values and is accountable for ensuring associates understand, embody, and uphold our defined behaviors and principles. This person will work closely with Sr. Leadership and key stakeholders to translate our values into tangible, measurable behaviors that are infused into day-to-day routines, practices, and protocols in direct alignment with TIAA's overarching strategy.
This role requires a high degree of autonomy, self-direction, and relationship building to foster meaningful cross-functional partnerships with key stakeholder groups across the enterprise to help bring our future state experience to life.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement a comprehensive values-based framework that aligns with our company's mission and vision.
- Drive the integration of values and behaviors throughout the organization, working closely with leadership teams to ensure consistency and alignment.
- Embed our values and behaviors into all processes and routines, ensuring they become the DNA of our operations.
- Collaborate across the People Team and other functional areas to develop training programs, workshops, and resources that empower associates to embody our values on a daily basis.
- Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the organization, including executive leadership, to influence decision-making and drive change.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the values and behaviors program, leveraging data and feedback to continuously improve and refine our approach.
- Serve as a role model for our values, leading by example, and inspiring others to live our principles in their daily interactions.
- Act as the primary advisor to Sr. Leadership on matters related to values and behaviors, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Perform other related duties of a comparable level/type as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of organizational change management and project management experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years organizational change management and project management experience.
- Proven ability to design and deliver enterprise behavioral change and cultural transformation initiatives
- Strong HR background
- Creativity - thinking beyond the current state, dedicated to improvement through the eyes of colleagues
- Ability to interact, influence and build credibility with individuals across all areas of an organization including executive management
- Demonstrated high-proficiency in PowerPoint and/or other multi-media presentation platforms
- Track record of discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
- Strong and demonstrated practice and organizational management skills w/ knowledge and experience applying organizational policies, procedures and protocols
- Using, applying, interpreting and presenting analytics / metric-based insights to achieve outcomes, manage risk and advise partners
- Flexibility in approach within an evolving culture

Base Pay Range: $140,000/yr. - $190,000/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
