Forto is looking to appoint an exceptionally talented Associate Finance Manager - Trade & Operations for its trade & operations finance function to join an already highly accomplished team. The role sits in the Finance department reporting to a senior finance manager. We are seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on Finance person who can help to bring step change to the trade & operations finance department. This is a fascinating point at which to join a successful business, a strong brand, and IPO ambitions.

You will

• Drive operational excellence through insightful steering, reporting, and analysis of key performance indicators and business cases
• Shape strategic decisions by developing financial models and ROI estimates for innovative business initiatives
• Lead operational reviews and provide valuable controlling insights for both operational and trade organizations
• Champion innovation by identifying and presenting fresh ideas to senior management, challenging the status quo with well-researched, data-driven proposals

Your Strengths

• 1-2 years of experience in finance, commercial operations, or operations finance, bringing a fresh perspective to our team
• A keen analytical mind with a passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Ability to balance attention to detail with a strategic, big-picture outlook
• Talent for translating complex strategic concepts into clear, actionable financial insights
• Expert in spreadsheets and financial modeling, with SQL skills being a valuable asset
• Entrepreneurial spirit and adaptability, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Fluent in English, with German language skills appreciated
