Job Title:

Associate Financial Analyst

Job Description:

The Associate Financial Analyst is responsible for organizing, calculating, and analyzing financial data to help the company keep accurate records as well as generating financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Perform monthly and quarterly financial close tasks.
• Perform monthly and quarterly financial reporting tasks.
• Prepare monthly sales and use tax returns.
• Assist in ad hoc international, federal, state and local tax projects.
• Generate periodic tax provision and tax return supporting schedules and documentation.
• Prepare month-end journal entries.
• Analyze financial data to assess accuracy and completeness.
• Generate and interpret financial reports for management.
• Prepare account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Review financial results and investigate variances to forecast.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Business with accounting or finance major or equivalent experience

Experience:

Entry level; 0-2 years of experience in Finance or Accounting

Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Must be analytical and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
