Description
As an Associate, Financial Planning & Analysis, you will be creating tangible value for the business through your analytical skills from day one. You will have the opportunity to partner with business customers to drive strategic business direction, build efficient planning and reporting processes, and perform financial data analysis. Your analyses will provide management and business partners with actionable insights for decision making.
What you will do at Avant
• Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including areas of revenue, expenses and capital expenditures
• Develop presentations to communicate business and analysis results to executives, investors and board members
• Develop the Annual Budget, Monthly Financial Forecast and the Long-Term Financial Plan
• Implement and maintain FP&A platform updates and dashboard reports
• Work closely with the business leaders to help identify areas and processes for driving cost efficiencies
• Develop and enhance financial models. Improve forecasting accuracy and drive business insights
• Perform competitive analyses to drive strategic insights and action
Why you are a fit at Avant
• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative major (Finance, Accounting, Economics,
Mathematics, Engineering)
• 2+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, financial modeling, consulting, investment banking or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) license or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Certified Financial Manager (CFM)
• 4+ years of experience in financial analysis and financial modeling
• Advanced experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience with Hyperion Essbase, Workday Adaptive Planning or similar planning tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
