POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking an Associate Analyst for our FP&A Operations and Business Partner teams to assist in full-stack centralized financial planning activities across business units. The ideal candidate will be curious and informed with regards to the latest in finance and industry news, will be customer oriented, and have a history of developing and cultivating relationships outside of the finance department, both with senior executives and a diverse group of functional area employees. This position will report to the Sr. Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis and will work closely with other members of the senior management team to help achieve the potential of our growing company. In order to be successful in this role, you should possess a combination of strong quantitative abilities, business acumen, project management, and communication skills.
RESPONSIBILTIES
 The Associate FP&A Analyst’s primary job responsibilities will include:
- Perform tactical financial plan execution work, such as tracking expenditures and obligations against spend plans, monitoring use of funds through variance reporting, and updating/rolling forward plans each month.
- Assist with all financial planning and analysis activities, specializing in operating expense forecasting and modeling.
- Interpret high-level financial plan directives and establish policies for carrying out directives with various stakeholders.Â
- Analyze monthly department budgets and forecasts and work with the accounting department to create and maintain expenditure controls.Â
- Review operating plans to analyze trends affecting budget needs and proactively address them.Â
- Consult with managers and senior finance executives to ensure that financial plan adjustments are made in accordance with approved program changes.
REQUIREMENTS
- A minimum of a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance/Economics/Accounting or similar, coupled with 1+ years corporate finance experience as an analyst and/or intern with duties including profit and loss analysis and KPI analysis, or other experience with a high degree of transferability.
- Working knowledge of accounting and financial concepts
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Demonstrated ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, solve problems, draw valid conclusions and make actionable recommendations in a timely and accurate manner.
- Must be hands-on, driven, and comfortable working independently.Â

- You have experience with subscription-based business models or a deep desire to learn them
- You have 1-3 years of experience in an analyst or similar data-centric role
- You are detail-orientated with the ability to develop, manage, and execute identified objectives
