What you will be doing:

As a Software Engineer at impact.com, you will create and support features on our platform which are used by many of the world’s top brands to grow their businesses.
You will be a member of our Data Viz squad, building data presentation features that provide an interactive experience for our end users.
You will become proficient in the latest in Java, React, Unit Testing, TDD, JavaScript, Spring, while mastering our platform and code base.


Does this sound like you?

Diploma or B.S. In Computer Science or related field or equivalent professional experience
Graduate to intermediate level professional software engineering experience
Experience in full stack (frontend/backend) development with Java
Excellent communication and teamwork skills


Required experience in:

  • Java - version 8 and newer
  • Spring, Spring MVC
  • Native JavaScript - both ES5 and ES6
  • Modern JavaScript Framework: React preferred, but Angular, Vue or other would be helpful
  • SQL, MySQL, or another RDBMS
  • HTML, CSS and DOM
  • REST API
  • Hibernate/JPA
  • JDBC
  • Shell commands
  • Client-side debugging (Chrome / Firefox devtools)
  • GIT

Nice to have experience with:

  • Docker
  • ELK Stack
  • State management frameworks - Vuex, Redux, Spring Webflow
  • Webpack/Vite
  • CSS processors
  • Groovy
  • Gradle
  • Tomcat or Resin
  • Spring Boot
