POSITION SUMMARY

This role is required to be in office 5 days a week.

Domo's Legal Department is looking for a talented, versatile securities and corporate attorney to help support Domo’s global business. This attorney will lead Domo’s efforts with SEC reporting and compliance, managing our loan facilities, assisting with corporate governance, and negotiating other strategic transactions. The role includes managing Domo’s Director, Shareholder Services. This attorney will also partner closely with Domo’s sales teams assisting with all legal aspects of outbound SaaS and IT services agreements.  

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee all aspects of the Company’s compliance with SEC rules and regulations;
• Assisting the corporate secretary with resolutions, policies and other corporate governance matters;
• Negotiating strategic transactions (partnerships, M&A, joint ventures. Etc.) and managing outside counsel engaged on those matters;
• Structure, review, draft, and negotiate SaaS and IT master services agreements and other commercial agreements with Domo customers in a high-volume, international environment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 6 years of legal experience in capital markets and SEC reporting;
• J.D. from an accredited law school and membership in at least one state bar (Utah preferred but not required);
• Strong background in SaaS transactions, public company experience a plus;
• Excellent project management and analytical skills;
• Strong drafting and negotiating skills;
• Business-oriented legal outlook, experience supporting an enterprise sales team is a plus;
• Exceptional judgment, effective communicator, strong work ethic, dependable, and a demonstrated ability to independently manage a diverse and complex workload;
• The successful candidate must be an enthusiastic, creative and self-driven problem solver, enjoy working hard and being challenged, and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations.
