The Central Research Product Group is a center of expertise that enables GLG’s business units to deliver research solutions to clients across a wide array of sectors (e.g., Technology, Industrials, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Professional Service Firms). GLG is looking for an enthusiastic, diligent Associate of Global Reporting to join the Central Research Product Group and support GLG's global survey research business. The ideal candidate will work to support the creation and delivery data visualizations designed to facilitate our client’s ability to generate insights from their survey data, as well as collaborating with client-facing research teams and internal reporting teams to package results into insightful client-facing reports.

As an Associate of Global Reporting, you will be expected to master foundational data visualization and reporting skills and meaningfully contribute to the team by supporting projects on research tasks.


Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Analyze: Interpret data from online surveys, visualize and synthesize results.
  • Deliver: Build market-research reports that support clients’ understanding of survey results via dashboards, PowerPoint or Google Slides decks, crosstabs, charts, and other deliverables
  • Verify: Ensure client facing data is accurate through implementation of quality control checks.
  • Collaborate: Work with GLG’s Strategic Solutions teams and other Business Units to define, execute, and deliver survey visualization, analysis, and reporting needs including understanding the client research need upfront to deliver high impact results.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • A year of experience in survey research with emphasis on report writing in a market research environment preferred, however, relevant academic experience, data visualization courses/certificates and/or internships of comparable value accepted, additional experience in end-to-end survey project delivery a plus
  • Familiarity in research data analysis, with at least one data analysis/visualization tool, such as R, SPSS, Stata, Power BI, Tableau, Forsta Visualizations/Dapresy (Strongly Preferred) etc.
  • Must have at least intermediate proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and/or Google Slides.
  • A bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a field with strong quantitative, data visualization or research foundation.
  • Attention to detail along with an ability to identify quality control issues with consistent accuracy.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, as well as drive to 'crack the problem' with a deep intellectual curiosity and integrity, combined with a practical sense of how to cut to the core issues and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Be willing to work at least 3 days of the week out of our GLG offices.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and project management skills
    • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to deal thoughtfully with confidential information.
    • Strong process skills of follow up and follow through.
    • Ability and willingness to attend calls to accommodate different time zones.
    • Ability to interact with staff (at all levels) in a fast-paced environment, while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:

$65,600$87,000 USD
