Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team Mission Systems team.
  • Support multiple programs as a production engineer creating all the necessary files for program to function including parts list, other documentations
  • Create revision documents to track how engineering drawings change throughout the program life cycle. Implement the change being done to have an accurate catalog of drawing changes
  • Inspect parts and their data sheets against stringent standards to ensure they meet requirements
  • Conducts research, design, development, and testing of information processing hardware such as computer chips, circuit boards, computer systems, and electrical components.
  • Designs new or modifies existing products, develops technical specifications for production, analyzes hardware configuration and processing solutions, and tests hardware conformance to specifications.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering or related technical field, and 1-2 years of relevant experience
  • US Citizen and ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance
  • Experience with fundamental mechanical and production engineering principles, concept and tools
  • Modeling and simulation software experience

Salary Range: $59,100.00 - $88,700.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to basepay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO)for vacation and/orpersonal business.
