Associate Infrastructure and Application Engineer

The Associate Infrastructure and Application Engineer supports the for design, engineering, and provisioning, for abroad range of information technology and infrastructure. The incumbent will assist in the identification, evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of new technologies, systems and platforms. The Associate Infrastructure and Application Engineer will act as a resource for other technical staff and is responsible for end-to-end delivery of technology projects. The Associate Infrastructure and Application Engineer will work with other CDPHP team members to analyze problems, and develop practical solutions, and make specific, detailed and researched recommendations for improvements of the CDPHP operating environment and implement these changes.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree required.
• Cisco, Microsoft, and/or VMware certifications a plus.
• Proven Experience supporting enterprise IT systems is preferred.
• Experience and/or knowledge of IT operations or Data Center Management is preferred.
• Microsoft and Linux Operating system knowledge/experience is preferred.
• VMWare and AWS knowledge/experience is preferred.
• Network and systems management/analysis tools preferred.
• Enterprise application deployment/support preferred.
• Well-versed in IT industry trends, concepts, solutions, best practices and methodologies preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify, implement and monitor outcomes is required.
• Strong written and oral communication skills are required.
• Demonstrated ability to identify weaknesses in workflow and develop and implement process improvements to continually ensure that corporate goals are satisfied.
