About you:

Provide administration of all operating systems in use at the company and maintain uptime of core servers and solutions for the company. Manage access for company's Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud account and aid other teams with requests for resources. Build infrastructure solutions for workflows of other teams, including databases and application deployment pipelines. Use infrastructure as code tools to build on-premises and cloud-based solutions. Develop logging capabilities to maintain uptime and health of deployed systems. Overhaul network architecture in collaboration with IT team by writing code to automate and update configuration of networking devices. Deploy nodes to storage cluster to increase on-premises data storage capabilities. Write scripts in Shell and programming languages. Assist IT team with daily responsibilities as able.

Key qualifications:

Using infrastructure as code (IAC) tools: Terraform, Docker, Packer, Ansible, Cloud-Init, or Kickstart; Shell scripting and Git; Managing Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems: GSuite, ActiveDirectory, or MDM solutions;  Programming language: Ruby or Python; Building custom tools to fit internal needs across a large range of teams, including Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) systems, and logging pipelines; Administering Windows, OSX, and Linux systems; Core networking protocols: Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), User Datagram Protocol (UDP), Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), Domain Name System (DNS), Wi-Fi Protected Access (WPA), and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP); and Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model of networking.

Preferred qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, or a related field. Two (2) years of experience as an Information Technology Specialist, Infrastructure Engineer, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
