RESPONSIBILITIES

The Associate IT Systems Analyst position supports the Director of Technical Operations by providing technical assistance to Common App; including guiding the development of computer networks & systems, investigating matters related to information security, and providing desktop management for the organization. This individual will play a role in the organization by completing evaluations of hardware and software, providing advice regarding IT networking infrastructure, and producing cost analysis of potential IT goals & strategic themes. As needed, this position will assist in all department activities related to the position.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

This role requires:

• Candidates must live in the United States.
• Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and experience with at least 2+ years of broad experience in software analyst or IT systems roles.
• 0-2 years experience with the day-to-day management of mission-critical enterprise communication and collaboration services
• Experience analyzing internal technology service needs and designing/developing technical solutions to meet those needs
• Fundamental understanding of the software implementation lifecycle process
• Ability to self-manage work in a highly active and engaged service environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High energy, a positive attitude, and the ability to take initiative and adapt will be crucial skills in this role
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals that are generally error-free
• Strong organizational skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Ability to demonstrate and execute on Agile project management methodologies
• Knowledge pertaining to industry best practices regarding managing information security at scale
• A passion for higher education is a plus.
