The Associate Learning & Development Partner will be responsible for supporting the execution and delivery of training initiatives across the organization, along with providing administrative support for the Learning & Development team. This individual will assist with facilitation of in-store, corporate class-room and/or virtual training focused on sales, service, business acumen, leadership policies and procedures in support of driving organizational performance. This individual will effectively exhibit JD Finish Line's core values of Customer, People, Winning, Community, and Financial Responsibility in everything they do by performing the following key duties:
- Develops and maintains training content and resources within the e-learning platform and communication tools including Connect.
- Tracks/reports upon training KPIs
- Helps manage logistics of training events such as academies, inclusive of booking hotels, maintaining timecards, ordering food, "classroom" set-ups, etc.
- Assists with, and at times may independently facilitate and deliver group training programs, such as the JD Academy and Diversity & Inclusivity training.
- Receives feedback from Talent Partners as well as operational leadership to identify training opportunities and needs, and in partnership with L&D leadership, assists with content curation to meet these needs.
- Partners with the Talent Partner Team to align and make available learning programs and content based on business needs.
- Recommends process improvements to management as information is obtained from training feedback and development gaps.
- Builds effective partnerships with employees around training initiatives and succession.
- Supports new store/business unit openings including recruitment, training, team inductions and retail support.
- Supports the People department in delivering effective training and support on all objectives and roll out programs
- Additional duties and projects as required.
Required Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university is a plus, but not required. Experience in management or training in some capacity strongly preferred, preferably in a retail setting. Internal JD Finish Line experience strongly preferred.
Required Computer and/or Technical Skills
Should have basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Microsoft Office Products or Google Suite equivalents and ability to navigate Learning Management Systems.

- Travel may be very frequent (up to 50%) or very minimal, depending on the function of support.
- Average workweek is 40-50 hours, which can vary depending on business need.
The work environment for this position is a moderately noisy office setting.
