Work Location: Boston, MA - Hybrid, 3 days a week in office

What you will be doing:

The Associate Manager of Brand Marketing will develop and handle 360 marketing campaigns and initiatives to elevate our Beauty brands while growing engagement and driving growth. This role will lead campaign creation and execution with cross-functional teams including Social, Influencer & PR, e-Commerce, Channel and Education & Events to help build a strong, cohesive, seamless brand experience across all touch points along the customer journey. This role will leverage data in consumer behavior, industry trends, competitive research, and business analytics to craft rich storytelling content and implement marketing initiatives that build a competitive advantage for the brand and support company strategic and financial objectives.

  • Lead the conception, development, and implementation of marketing plan and launch strategies for each campaign to increase brand awareness and drive sales.
  • Lead the creative process from brief through final results, partnering with cross-functional teams to develop briefs for all new launches and brand campaigns.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging across channels while also using opportunities within each channel for increased reach/engagement.
  • Brief in Creative team and ensure clarity on all creative asset requests.
  • Adhering to Creative team's deadlines, lead creative review rounds for campaigns and provide consolidated feedback from partners.
  • Liaise between Creative teams and provide direction so that all assets support the Brand DNA, developing outstanding consumer journeys and creative that aligns with the original brand brief.
  • Handle photo/video shoot concept, planning, and execution.
  • Ensure shot list is accurate and all content gets collected for creative assets requested.
  • Work with internal partners to identify all details for model casting (# of models, hair type/texture/length/color, skin tones, etc.) and build model brief for creative team.
  • Ensure overlap of models is accurate to support launches, considering launch dates and retailer leads.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to align on model details (including before & after and finished looks) so that impactful transformations and strong imagery are captured.
  • Handle amplification of core business categories/SKUs.
  • Plan regular re-focus programs/campaigns that maintain an always-on focus for core SKUs.
  • Handle development of creative briefs with cross-functional teams.
  • Handle pre-production planning for photo/video shoots with creative team.
  • Partner closely with creative team to ensure accurate content is captured at photo/video shoots.
  • Partner with each channel to define and implement hero product strategy (i.e., activations, sampling, etc.).
  • Conduct regular market and competitor analyses to find opportunities and threats.
  • Monitor competitive landscape and industry trends.
  • Provide recommendations based on market insights.
  • Develop and maintain regular business reports, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to track brand performance.
  • Analyze and interpret data, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for leadership, summarizing brand health, market share, and campaign efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Business, Marketing, International Business
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in CPG, Beauty, or Fashion
  • Experience working in prestige beauty highly desired
  • Strong Computer Skills: Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of the retail/beauty landscape
  • Experience with external agencies (i.e., Creative)
  • Experience managing budgets
  • Financial competence including strong analytical ability
  • Confirmed ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and project management skills
  • Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
