What You’ll Do
Support the management of SoC, Modem and RF Business Portfolio as Marketing Analyst. This includes collecting market requirements in close cooperation with line Manager, sales operation, other account managers and related sales staff to realize the short and long term product targets.
Location: This is a Hybrid role, working onsite at our San Jose headquarters at least 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time.
Travel: This role may require 2-4 domestic or international trips per yearÂ
Reports to: Director, B2B Accounts
- Support the design-in activities and business operations by working with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Sales and Marketing teams to secure customer engagements.
- Market research
- Conduct analysis and periodical reviews of the brand, competition, category, customer and consumer trends to enhance the brand’s equity and marketplace performance.
- Analyze market trend and data using internal and external primary and secondary research to provide perspective to influence portfolio of products and launches.
- Project management
- Engage in commercial discussions with US customers.
- Act as local support interface with Customer’s JDM/ODM and internal team to manage sales operations for active program.
- Price management and long/short term business planning.
- Customer relation management
- Build relationships with internal stakeholder teams such as Marketing, Sales, Product Planning and development teams to know and understand S.LSI’s differentiated SoC offerings, roadmaps and strategies.
- Work with customer teams to map their requirements to existing S.LSI offerings, identify potential gaps, and champion their cause by driving internal development teams to address their needs and deliver technical solutions.
- Develop and build relationships with customers’ teams to understand their technology needs, application requirements and jointly define the best silicon/platform solutions to enable customer’s products
- Support your team, empowering their achievements, facilitating self-management, developing growth opportunities, and proactively planning for the future.
- Support other responsibilities as assigned.
What You Bring
- Bachelors with 5+ years of relevant industry experience or Masters with 3+ years of experience.
- Sales/marketing experience, program management or account manager experience preferred.
- Basic understanding on the commercial transaction of semiconductor industry and consumer devices, H/W manufacturing flow, price management, accounting and revenue.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with customers to solve their system requirements utilizing SLSI’s components and reference designs.
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend and consider both technical & business information. Exhibit strong executive presentation/negotiation skills with the ability to influence internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Korean language preferred.
- Documentation skills for MS office (Excel, word, PPT).
