Associate Manager, Digital Marketplace – New York, NY (Hybrid) 

Position Details 

Marquee Brands is seeking a confident, self-driven, and analytical Associate Manager, Digital Marketplace to support our digital marketplace team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to optimize sales, ensure brand consistency, and expand distribution.  

This role requires a motivated self-starter with strong communication, collaboration skills, and proficiency in leading meetings with licensees who can effectively prioritize tasks. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze ecommerce KPIs and competitive intelligence to optimize business performance and ensure consistency with brand identity. 
  • Build and maintain partnerships with vendors and marketplace account partners to drive business growth and execute strategic initiatives. 
  • Support and lead meetings with Licensees to help them achieve their performance goals and maintain a healthy presence on digital platforms. 
  • Collaborate with Brand Directors and strategic partners to establish business plan objectives. 
  • Define performance optimization processes & best practice guidelines and create a robust knowledge base playbook for internal and external use across marketplaces. 
  • Educate and track key metrics focused on driving exponential growth in each marketplace. 
  • Connect service providers by referring partners and Brands to trusted agencies such as Advertising Agencies, copywriters, and Refund Managers. 
  • Maintain an accurate Omni calendar reflecting marketing promotions and tentpole events. 
  • Use reporting tools to identify issues and opportunities for continuous improvement. 
  • Utilize tools like Tableau and other internal dashboards to analyze opportunities, identify patterns, and implement proactive solutions, including improvements across marketplaces. 
  • Guide licensees to exceed KPIs established in partnership with marketplaces, retain Brand loyalty/revenue, and reduce churn. Collaborate closely with API platform partners to act in the best interest of the client to drive performance. 
  • Proactively identify growth opportunities for partners search investments and propose solutions to improve ROI. 


Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in an e-commerce role, with a specific emphasis on digital marketplaces. 
  • Proficiency in SEO, AMZ Search, sales forecasting, and leading meetings with licensees. 
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and competitive intelligence. 
  • Familiarity with licensing and compliance requirements in a retail context. 
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. 

 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a licensing company or similar industry. 
  • Digital advertising and marketing experience. 
  • Knowledge of Amazon Seller and Vendor Central & other e-commerce platforms and marketplaces.

Salary: $75,000-$85,000 + bonus
