Your Impact:

As the Associate Manager, Email Newsletters you will be a key member of the newsletter team, supporting the maintaining, creation, and growth of newsletter revenue streams and audience. This is a collaborative position working with business stakeholders as well as editors from all of Hearst Magazines, including: Bestproducts.com, Bicycling, Car and Driver, Country Living, Cosmopolitan, Delish, Elle, Elle Decor, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's Bazaar, House Beautiful, Men's Health, Redbook, Popular Mechanics, Prevention, Road & Track, Runner's World, Seventeen, Town & Country, Veranda, Woman's Day and Women's Health.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner closely with internal stakeholders from ecommerce, membership, ad sales, and other Hearst teams to support collaborative cross-departmental operations and goals
  • Assist with the analysis, creation, and optimization of monthly, quarterly, and yearly newsletter strategy in collaboration with the larger newsletter team
  • Create and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad hock campaign and financial reports to monitor and track KPIs.
  • Assist in managing the day-to-day vendor relationship of our ESP and related partners
  • Own organic list growth initiatives primarily through the .com sites
  • Spearhead audience development initiatives with external partners
  • Manage the preference center flow and creation of new lists
  • Monitor Industry trends, making recommendations to improve engagement and revenue

Who You Are:

  • A minimum of two years experience in either email marketing, marketing analytics, or marketing operations
  • Hands-on experience with an ESP (Sailthru a plus)
  • Working knowledge of HTML
  • Knowledgeable in Google Analytics or related Web analytics tool
  • Proficient in MS office suite
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

The base salary for this role is between $55,000 to $64,000 annually. The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
