What You Will Do
The Associate Manager, Financial Systems is responsible for the management of the Hyperion System. This role will be responsible for consulting with and supporting business partners, end-users (Enterprise Accounting, Finance, Operations) and the IT team on a regular basis. This role is responsible for performing business admin functions for the Hyperion application.
- Responsible for the administration and maintenance of the Hyperion suite of applications (HFM, Hyperion Planning and FDMEE) and other key Financial Systems. This includes working with customers for quarterly maintenance cycles to determine necessary changes, partnering with the IS department to facilitate changes, and testing/validation of changes in Dev/QA/PROD environments. Also responsible for assisting in communication/education of changes to end users.
- Responsible for facilitating system training to end users both virtually and in person. Also responsible for preparing training materials and enhancing as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring user queries submitted through the Internal Reporting Mailbox/Yammer, providing end user support, and troubleshooting data validation issues. Must be able to independently research/troubleshoot and resolve financial and IT related issues.
- Responsible for guiding system preparation activities including reviewing month-end close preparation and opening system for projection and budget.
- Perform data reconciliation activities related to the transfer of actual and projected data between the applications.
- Take on ad hoc requests and project work as needed including developing best practices across the broader COE group, supporting system upgrades and implementations, and preparing ad hoc analysis as requested by management.
- Manage day to day work for a small team.
What You Need
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in accounting, business, systems, or finance required
- 6+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Hyperion strongly preferred
- Previous experience in Accounting and Reporting
- Strong troubleshooting, configuration, navigation skills across Hyperion application
- Fluency in English required
You will need to live within commuting distance to our Flower Mound, TX office. You will need to be in the office 2 days a week, but you will have the flexibility to work from home on the other days.
Travel Percentage: 10%
